This week officially marks when I've either completely lost touch with reality or finally struck gold. It may end up being a combination of both.
It's an unspoken tradition that when I get drunk with my best friend we sit around playing music for each other. We stumble through Youtube searches and Spotify playlists in order to find these hidden gems from back in the day that are a perfect combination of cheese and brilliance. This playlist was inspired but such music.
These songs are all from the 70's and 80's, but you may not remember them. The artists aren't mysterious, they're all fairly well known names. But these songs, in my opinion, have gotten buried over the years under the hit singles that made these artists popular. You could call them forgotten, misplaced, B-sides, or even "not good enough to stand the test of time"...but whatever. The snare hits alone on this playlist could restart a dead man's heart. Please enjoy this trip back to a past that nobody wanted to remember.
