MOVIES: BREATHLESS

Sometimes when I get home from a long day and the house is quiet and empty, I watch old french movies. Tonight's presentation was Jean-Luc Goddard's feature length debut Breathless.


It's simple, enticing, innovative, romantic yet dangerous, and above all else it's cool.


Jean-Paul Belmondo and Serge Gainsbourg should get in a fist fight to decide who is a cooler Frenchman.


Oh my, Jean Seberg. Only you can get away with having a poster of yourself in your bedroom.


If you haven't seen it already, take a night off and read some English on a screen while you hear French with your ears.
