This week I decided to shine some light under the great beast that is popular music and find some tunes that maybe y'all haven't heard before. If you have heard these songs or at least heard of these artists, congrats! Please, feel free to not tell me. Tell your friends, they need to know more.
I decided these tracks, or more specifically these artists, need more attention. Molly Nilsson's album These Things Take Time has been on repeat in my headphones for awhile. If you're feeling especially tragic for any reason, invest in some Xiu Xiu. Ozarks is releasing his first full LP in a month or so, be on the look out. Future Islands always kill it. Marnie Stern is super cute and will melt your face/soul with her guitar skills. SIBYLLE BAIER. There are so many great things to say about this woman. An amazing story. An amazing collection of songs. Please please please look into it.
